ClassGraphic  Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology 1 (APP 1) is the first in a series of five classes introducing the structure and function of the human body as well as relevant adaptations of these structures and functions (typically called disorders, diseases or conditions). The information and approach is based mainly on Western scientific perspectives. However, we will also discuss complimentary ways to recognize, maintain, and restore health and wellness related to the topics we study. We will emphasize conditions on the Oregon Board of Massage Therapists current list as well as indications and contraindications for conditions common to massage therapy situations. All classes in the APP series use the same textbooks. This is a first term class.
