Spark Academy Summer Youth Programming has been suspended for 2020, due to uncertainties created by the CoVid-19 pandemic. This was a very, very difficult decision for Continuing Education to make. We care very much about providing youth with high quality, educational enrichment opportunities, and we know that our Spark alumni in particular will be disappointed by this news. Please accept our heartfelt apologies for any disruption that this may cause you, our customer-families. We will be sending updates and information to our email newsletter recipients, which will include online educational opportunities we hear about through our affiliates and other youth organizations. If you are not already on our email newsletter list, please sign up here:

If you have questions, please email or you may call 541.463.6100, your call will be routed to staff who are working from home.

Be Well and Stay Safe,
Continuing Education

Continuing Education classes (as of March 23):
Lane Community College is dedicated to prioritizing the health of students, instructors, staff, and the wider community during this unprecedented time. As a result, the Continuing Education Department has made significant decisions regarding Spring term courses. Nearly all face-to-face classes have been canceled. If you have already registered for a face-to-face class that has been canceled, you will be refunded your fees. A few Career Technical classes will proceed with remote instructional methods. Online and Virtual classes are still taking registrations, including: Project Management, UGotClass and Ed2Go.

Future Offerings: We are currently working on our future offerings, with the best information we have available at this time. We hope to include classes that were canceled this spring in future terms.

Thank you for your patience and flexibility during this difficult time,
                 Continuing Education Staff
