Introduction to Massage-Part 2

In this class students will continue to learn and practice stances, hand exercises, self-care, range of motion, palpation, tensegrity and sensitivity of touch.  We will review intake and assessment skills, formulating a session design, and practicing a basic choreography at the table.  Ethical and effective communication skills will also be addressed.  We will continue to review the impact of COVID19 on our profession, including basic safety protocols and resources for the emerging science that will guide us in this new world.
This class is a prerequisite for Massage 1, which will be offered in-person, in the classroom, when COVID19 restrictions are lifted.

Please read:  Successful completion of Introduction to Massage Part 1 and 2 is a prerequisite for enrolling in Massage 1. An adjustable massage table and a healthy person to practice on at home are highly recommended for this class.
