Successful completion of Introduction to Communication, Ethics, and Law is required before taking this course.

This course is conducted over Zoom.

This is the program's business development course. This course will help students build a good starting point for business planning. It supports students in establishing a strong foundation for their individual career goals, by helping them define personal goals, create a professional resume, explore career options, navigate ethical business practices, and build successful client relationships. Students will be guided through reflection forms to help them learn business and personal life balance. Through lecture, discussion and supplemental materials (provided by instructor), students will learn how to market, brand and start their business plan. Successful completion of Introduction to Communication, Ethics, and Law is required before taking this course, and may be taken any time starting Term 3 to 6.
