Learn the building blocks of acrylics, from paint selection, color choices and brush selection. Learn which brushes to use for certain effects, how to achieve depth and dimension, and how to sketch out your project in pencil and/or with brush. Practice with still lifes and a final project. Instructor-led demonstrations, with in-class practice time and instructor tutelage. Any level or style welcome..., with special focus on the fundamentals for beginners. Recommended, but not required: some familiarity with drawing and color theory. No Class November 11 & 25, 2017.

A Beginning class, for those wanting to learn the basics and then some! single colore prints and stamps using a soft block, with a process that is easy to do on your own and take to the next level. We will start with designing drawings and patterns, learning different mark making methods, then cutting and printing. We will learn about different styles, ways to incorporate colore, and printing on both fabric and paper along the way, and send you home with the know-how- to go home and print some more! You will understand how to add photos, stories, and documents to each family member. We will look at all the family history programs on the web, including many fun and useful sites. Each class will have time for both instruction and allows you to work on your family line.
