This course is a foundation class in the kinesiology series and cultivates a respectful, inclusive, and accessible learning environment while supporting creativity, experimentation, and personal transformation. Introduction to Kinesiology Lower Body is the second in a sequence of kinesiology courses. Successful completion of Introduction to Kinesiology Upper Body is required before taking this course.
The two introductory courses present the principles and terminology of Kinesiology. Students explore muscle attachments and muscle movements and learn how to palpate.
