ClassGraphic NOTICE: This is the last half term Introduction to Law class. Students who have already successfully completed the half term Introduction to Communication & Ethics class are highly encouraged to enroll in this class. Starting Fall term 202520, Communication, Ethics, and Law will be integrated into one full term class.

Introduction to Law examines the statutes, rules and policies for massage therapists regulated by the Oregon Board of Massage Therapists (OBMT). Students will study ethical protocol of the massage profession, define the fundamentals of professional conduct and prepare to navigate the jurisprudence exam, a licensing requirement of the OBMT.
