Important Note: Classes are held at the main campus, 4000 E 30th Ave., Eugene. Each BLS class needs to meet the minimum required student enrollment for each class to run. You will be contacted if there will be a cancellation, and you will have the option to be transferred to another class (if available), or to be dropped and fully refunded. Thank you.

Course Overview
Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED teaches participants how to give first aid, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and use an automated external defibrillator safely and effectively. The course is offered in three training formats: blended learning, classroom training, and self-directed learning.

What does this course teach?
Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED teaches the lifesaving skills of first aid, CPR and AED including:

First aid basics
Medical emergencies
Injury emergencies
Environmental emergencies
Preventing illness and injury
Adult CPR and AED use
Choking help for an Adult, Child or Infant
Drowning response and prevention
Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies
Optional modules in Child CPR AED and Infant CPR

Classes have a max size of 10 students.
Come about 10 mins early to class so we can start on time.
Dress in comfortable clothing to perform CPR. You will be bending over and on your knees on the floor. If you have longer hair, you might consider bringing a hair tie.

Directions to the venue:
1). Upon entering the main campus by the bus station, you will see the flag poles on your right. Go straight.
2). You'll see Building 5 on your left. Go down the Health covered entrance (in between bldg. number signs 4 and 5) and go down the stairs.
3). For Room 125 - Immediately proceed to the entry point on your right and you will see the Exit door of Room 126 / Entry door of Room 125 to your right.
4). For Room 126 - Just go straight (You'll see the restrooms on your left), and go around to your right to Enter Room 126.
