Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology 1 (APP 1) is a Term 1 course and is a prerequisite for all other APP courses. It introduces the studies of structure and function of the human body as well as dysfunctions that appear as injury or disease. Topics covered include the organization of the human body, fundamentals of cell biology, the structure and composition of skin, and skin conditions commonly encountered by massage therapists.
