Massage Technique-Thai Self Massage

ID : 24374
« back to classes page
Developed by the ancient Reusi (Thai spiritual ascetics), self massage practices and joint mobilization exercises were used for self care, as a vehicle for studying the body, medicine - and most likely evolved into much of what we now know as Thai massage. In addition to being a great self-care practice for modern-day LMTs, we will use the full body sequence to study some basic Thai medicine anatomy and physiology models and some lovely Thai massage techniques. Part of this class is setting aside an hour a day for practice. By the end of the series, you’ll have an invaluable resource for studying and maintaining your most used tool - your own body.
